It's definitely summer here in NZ - the air is warmer and the sun is fierce. We've got Jules a swimming suit for his Christmas present, and may try him in the ocean during our holiday. The swimsuits these days cover far more than the little speedos kids used to wear. He's even got a matching swimsuit material hat, complete with brim and neck shade! My son shall not get sunburned, we are determined to keep his skin healthy - a difficult feat here.
Steve, Jules and I are going on our first family holiday together. We'll be gone for 2 1/2 weeks, so I won't be blogging during that time. Our travels are:
27-28 Dec: Camping (!) at Oakura
29 Dec - 2 Jan: Taipa Bay Resort
3 - 8 Jan: Bach in Russell with Kelly (Steve's sister) and her family. They have a baby who is just 3 weeks older than Jules, so we'll be doing the same kind of things.
