Reading with Dad. 'Dear Zoo' is one of Jules' absolute favourites!
What a lucky boy - the Easter Bunny brought eggs and CHOCOLATE.
Tractor and trailer are one of the favourite toys at the moment. Tragedy was narrowly averted - as piggy went missing and the kind people at WOW toys sent us a new piggy!
Morning in sleeper with Tigger.
It's been a full-on past eight weeks or so since my parents left. Just an update on some of what's been happening in our lives.
Jules' development
Lots of new words: block, "ah-ah" for airplane, paint, apple (1st 2-syllable word), buh for butterfly, "bah - baaa" for train (this is the noise we make when we take the train around the track), car, bus, van (and he correctly distinguishes the vehicles), "ghee" for green, "muh" for milk, "dah-dah" for tractor and also for fire truck, egg, 'nack' for snack and some others, I'm sure I've missed!
Lots of reading, sometimes up to 20 books in a day! This is great, and we hope the interest continues.
Daycare: Jules continues to really enjoy daycare - and is starting to socialize with the other children. He now knows all of their names and points them out when you ask who's who. The down side to daycare is the next heading.
Illness
2 stomach viruses (Jules and Nissa both times!)
1 chest infection
2 ear infections
many visits to the doctor
Other
Life is busy, busy, busy! Don't know how people with more than one child manage it!
